Notice: It is with a note of sadness that we record the passing away of Ian Thomas on 29 July 2016.  Ian had a heart attack in about June and was recommended to have a triple bypass. However they decided to treat the condition medically rather than with surgically and he was about half way the course of treatment when the Lord took him.

Do remember Bobby, his wife, in your prayers at this time.

Ian Thomas had written his story and it is recorded below.

I heard about the planned reunion from Rob and I reply with great pleasure.

Rob and I see each other from time to time and it’s always good fellowship; both kept by the wonderful grace of God.  I spent two unforgettable years at BI.  I was a student first in 1966 and graduated in 1967 and went to the South African General Mission.

Currently I am the pastor of Grace Evangelical Church in Durban and loving it.  Still happily married and we have two children and 6 grandchildren.
